3rd and 4th had lots of fun when given a group task – to build a tall strong tower, that looks good and has a theme! The results were fantastic! It’s amazing what you can build in 20 minutes! Some budding architects and contractors in our midst…..

Monday mornings have become very lively with visits from Ben to help us learn new rugby skills. The whole class has been very enthusiastic when participating in these sessions and everyone agrees that they are lots of fun! This week, we began to learn the rules of Tag Rugby and had lots of fun trying to snare a red or yellow tag from opposing teams. Here are some pics from the latest session…..

in partnership with our Active Flag activity, we recently purchased some fabulous new sports equipment to help liven up our breaks and also enhance our P.E. lessons. Included in the delivery were – skipping ropes, hula hoops, dodge balls, and multi target hoops. We are especially excited about our new balance boards – an initiative encouraged by a recent visit from GAA coach Dudley Farrell.
