December Newsletter

December Newsletter

Dear Parents,

We are On Tour on Tuesday 12th December! Please drop your children to the school between 9 and 9.10am. The school bus will run as normal, dropping off at 9.10am.

The Infants and 1st and 2nd Class have started a series of lessons on Agility, Balance and Co-Ordination with Dudley Farrell. – Lots of fun and learning!

As part of our Green School’s campaign Robin Barry Environmental scientist visited the school on 28th November and taught us all about Bio Diversity. He showed the children a huge variety of creatures including dragon flies, fish, spiders, scorpions and bees. Great fun had by all!

A big thank you to all the parents for coming to our parent/teacher meetings last week.

School Website

Our new school website is nearing completion. Through our website, we will give you a flavour of the many activities in which we are involved. In that regard please note the following and then detach, sign and return the slip to the school tomorrow.

  • Pupils will be given the opportunity to have their work published on the school website.
  • Digital photographs or video recordings of individual pupils will not be published on the school website. Photographs, videos will focus on groups rather than individuals.
  • Personal pupil’s information (name, address etc) will be omitted from the school web pages.
  • Pupils will continue to own copyright on any work published. The website will be checked regularly to ensure that there is no content that compromises the safety of pupils or staff.
